Daily Verse

Jesus’ words in John 10:11 reveal the depth of His love: “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” Jesus is not a distant leader who abandons us when life becomes difficult. He knows us, protects us, guides us, and ultimately gave His life so that we could have life through Him.

This verse invites us to trust the Shepherd more than our own sense of direction. When the path is uncertain, we can follow Christ knowing that His leadership is motivated by sacrificial love. And as His followers, we are called to reflect that same kind of love—caring for others not merely when it is convenient, but with humility, faithfulness, and sacrifice.

Daily application: Ask yourself today, “Where is Jesus asking me to trust His leading rather than insist on my own way?” Then take one deliberate step of obedience.
