Psalm 20:6 ESV
Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand.
Psalm 20:6 reminds us that our confidence does not rest in circumstances, human strength, or our own ability to control the outcome. David declares certainty that the Lord saves His anointed and answers from heaven with His powerful hand. Faith can therefore move beyond simply hoping God is able to help us to trusting that God is present, powerful, and faithful to respond according to His will.
For believers, this verse is an encouragement when facing uncertainty or opposition. We may not always know how God will answer, but we can know where our help comes from. Instead of allowing fear to dominate our thoughts, we can pray confidently, move forward faithfully, and rest in the assurance that the same God who hears us is fully able to sustain, protect, and deliver us.
