Daily Verse

God’s blessings are not intended to simply stop with us—they are meant to flow through us. Paul reminds us that God enriches our lives so that we can become increasingly generous with what He has entrusted to us. And generosity extends beyond money; we can generously give our time, encouragement, compassion, hospitality, abilities, and attention.

There is also a higher purpose to generosity: it points people toward God. When we give freely and lovingly, others may ultimately respond not merely by thanking us, but by thanking Him.

Application: Consider today: What has God placed in my hands that I can use to bless someone else? Rather than measuring God’s blessing only by what we receive, we can also measure it by what He enables us to give.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the many ways You have enriched my life. Give me a generous heart that recognizes everything I have comes from You. Help me use what You have entrusted to me to bless others and ultimately bring thanksgiving and glory to You. Amen.
