Daily Verse

John reminds us that one of life’s greatest joys is seeing others faithfully follow Christ. While he refers to his spiritual children, the principle extends to parents, mentors, pastors, and every believer who has invested in the lives of others. Success, accomplishments, and possessions all fade, but witnessing someone continue to walk in God’s truth is an eternal source of joy. It is evidence that God’s Word has taken root and is bearing lasting fruit.

This verse also challenges us to examine our own lives. Are we walking in the truth—not merely believing it, but living it each day through obedience, love, and faithfulness? Our lives can become an encouragement to those who have poured into us and a testimony that points others to Christ. May we live in such a way that our walk brings joy to God and encourages others to remain steadfast in His truth.
