Daily Verse

Jesus teaches that true purity begins in the heart, not merely in outward behavior. A pure heart is one that is sincere, undivided, and focused on loving and honoring God above all else. While none of us achieves perfect purity on our own, God works within believers to transform our desires and align our hearts with His will.

The promise is remarkable: “they shall see God.” As our hearts are increasingly devoted to Him, we experience His presence, recognize His work in our lives, and grow in intimacy with Him. One day, this promise will be fulfilled completely when we see Him face to face.

Today, ask God to reveal anything that competes for your heart’s devotion and to create in you a heart that is wholly His. A pure heart is not a perfect heart—it is a heart that continually turns toward God.
