Hebrews 1:1-2 ESV
Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
Hebrews 1:1–2 reminds us that God is not silent. Throughout history, He spoke “at many times and in many ways” through prophets, revealing His character and purposes little by little. But in Jesus, God’s message became fully clear and personal. Christ is not merely another messenger—He is the Son, the ultimate revelation of who God is and what He desires for humanity.
This passage invites us to listen carefully to Jesus. In a world filled with competing voices, opinions, and distractions, God has spoken most clearly through His Son. If we want wisdom, direction, peace, or truth, we do not have to wonder where to look—our eyes can rest on Christ, whose words and life reveal the heart of God.
