Daily Verse

In 2 Timothy 4:2, Paul urges Timothy to “preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” This is a call to steadfast faithfulness, not convenience. God’s truth is not something we speak only when it is popular or easy. Believers are called to stand firm in every season — whether people are receptive, indifferent, or resistant. The verse also balances truth with character: correction must be paired with patience, love, and careful teaching.

This passage challenges us to live prepared and spiritually attentive each day. Opportunities to encourage, correct, or point someone toward Christ often come unexpectedly. Rather than shrinking back out of fear or comfort, we should cultivate a heart grounded in Scripture and guided by grace. Faithfulness in small daily moments — conversations, decisions, acts of integrity, and encouragement — becomes part of our witness to the world.
