Deuteronomy 10:17 (ESV) reveals a God who is both unmatched in power and perfect in justice. He is the “God of gods and Lord of lords,” yet He shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. In a world where influence, status, and advantage often distort fairness, God stands completely above it all—His judgments are pure, and His character is unwavering. That should both humble and steady us, because no one can manipulate Him, and no one is overlooked by Him.

This truth pushes us to reflect His heart in how we treat others. If God shows no favoritism, then neither should we. It challenges pride, prejudice, and self-interest, calling us to walk in integrity and fairness in every relationship. Following Him means aligning not just with His authority, but with His justice—living in a way that reflects His impartial and righteous character.
