This verse anchors us in a truth we often struggle to hold onto—God is not only right in what He does, but He is also good in how He does it. Even when life feels confusing or painful, His actions are never careless or unjust. His righteousness means He is perfectly faithful to His character, and His kindness means His intentions toward us are always rooted in love.

The challenge is that we don’t always feel that kindness in the moment. Circumstances can distort our perspective. But this verse calls us to trust beyond what we see—to believe that God’s ways are both morally perfect and deeply compassionate. When we begin to view our lives through that lens, it steadies us.
