Psalm 34:15 ESV
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.
This is a deeply personal reminder that God is not distant or indifferent—He is attentive. He sees His people, and He listens when they call out to Him.
In seasons where it feels like no one notices or understands, this verse anchors us in truth: God is fully aware. Not just of our circumstances, but of our hearts. He doesn’t miss the quiet prayers, the unspoken burdens, or the moments of desperation we struggle to put into words.
But this also calls us to live rightly before Him. The “righteous” are not perfect people—they are those who walk in relationship with God, seeking Him and aligning their lives with His ways. As we do, we can have confidence that when we cry out, we are not speaking into silence. We are heard by a God who is present, attentive, and responsive.
So the next time you feel overlooked or unheard, don’t withdraw—lean in. God sees you. God hears you. And He is not ignoring your cry.
