2 Samuel 22:32-33 ESV
For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? This God is my strong refuge and has made my way blameless.
2 Samuel 22:32–33 reminds us that there is no true security apart from God. David declares that the Lord alone is God, the only unshakable Rock, and the One who strengthens and equips him. In a world where we often look to our own abilities, resources, or relationships for stability, this passage redirects our trust to the only foundation that cannot fail. God doesn’t just protect from a distance—He actively empowers, making our way blameless and steady.
The challenge is simple but searching: where are you placing your confidence today? When we rely on God as our strength, we stop striving to control everything and begin walking with a quiet confidence rooted in Him. Strength isn’t something we manufacture—it’s something we receive.
