Psalm 73:25-26 ESV
Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:25–26 captures the turning point of a heart that has wrestled with envy and confusion and finally sees clearly. The psalmist realizes that God Himself is the reward—not comfort, not success, not vindication. Everything else can fade. Health can decline. Emotions can fluctuate. Plans can unravel. But when God is your portion, you are not empty even when you feel weak. This passage calls us to evaluate what we are truly leaning on. If your security rests in anything temporary, it will eventually fail you. But if God is your strength, you have a foundation that cannot collapse.
