Psalm 95:3-6 ESV
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
Psalm 95:3–6 calls us to lift our eyes from ourselves to behold the greatness of the Lord. God is not only exalted above all so-called gods, but He also holds the depths and the heights of creation in His hands—nothing is outside His rule or care. In response to such majesty, the psalmist invites us to bow down and kneel, reminding us that true worship flows from humility and reverence. As we acknowledge the Lord as our Maker, we are drawn into a posture of awe-filled gratitude, offering Him not just songs, but surrendered hearts.
