Luke 1:37-38 ESV
"For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
Mary’s response captures the heart of faithful surrender. In a moment filled with uncertainty and personal cost, she entrusts her future entirely to God’s promise. During Advent, this verse invites us to receive Christ not merely with wonder, but with willing obedience—yielding our plans so that God’s redemptive purposes may take flesh in our lives as well.
