Luke 1:46-50 ESV

And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation."

Mary’s song begins with a heart overflowing in worship, recognizing that God sees and cherishes the lowly and pours out His mercy on those who fear Him. In her humble joy, we hear the echo of Advent—God drawing near to the unnoticed, the waiting, and the weary. Her Magnificat reminds us that the coming of Christ is rooted not in human power but in divine compassion, a mercy that stretches from generation to generation. As we reflect on these verses, we are invited to join Mary in magnifying the Lord, trusting that His mighty work continues in quiet and unexpected ways.Tomorrow’s verse
